CLOS Receives Sustainability Grant

Cross Laminated Offsite Solutions extends its heartfelt appreciation and pride in being a recipient of the recent grant allocation from the Allan Labor Government. This financial support, channelled through the Circular Business Support Fund and Circular Economy Innovation Fund, emphasizes the commitment of the government fostering innovation and sustainable practices in the community.

Minister for Environment Steve Dimopoulos's announcement of the $4.8 million funding distribution reflects the government's dedication to supporting businesses in reducing waste and exploring new avenues for recycled products. We are thrilled to be one of the 14 successful recipients, standing alongside other forward-thinking organisations working towards a more sustainable future.

As an environmentally conscious business, we are excited to utilise the grant of over $800,000 to expand our operations in creating a closed panel wall system. This funding will empower us to construct high-quality and affordable housing components, such as wall and floor panels. Importantly, this initiative aligns with the government's goal to divert more than two thousand tonnes of waste from landfill each year, contributing to a healthier environment.

Additionally, the project will play a role in accelerating the construction of cost-effective homes, and will create 40 new jobs in our community.

We express our deepest gratitude to Minister Steve Dimopoulos, the Allan Labor Government, and all stakeholders involved for their foresight and commitment to fostering innovation in the Victorian business landscape.
